Device capable of sending and receiving text message (SMS)

We often get questions about whether a particular device works with Voicent’s text marketing software (BroadcastBySMS). The first thing to check is obviously whether it can send and receive text messages. But how do we know whether it works with BroadcastBySMS?

To answer that question, here are the steps to check:

1. Get the device model and check online for its technical specification

2. Look for GSM standards that is supported by the device. For text message or SMS, the standard is GSM 07.05 Phase 2.

If it contains the above interface, it should work with Voicent software.
