Jump Element

A jump/go-to element is used to define a transition to any other element in the call flow diagram. The normal transition is from parent element to child element.

Properties

General Properties: Element Name, Transition from Parent Element

In addition to the general name and transition information, a jump element has a property of an element to jump to.

Execution

1. Execute all actions of the element
2. Play all prompt items of the element
3. Set the active element to the Jump to element

Example

The Goto Vmail to Email element is a jump element. It simply sets the active element to Voicemail to Email element. The advantage of using a jump element is that you can re-use the functionality of an existing element.
