6.3 Deploy Inbound and Outbound IVR Applications

We need to update and deploy both the inbound IVR application and outbound IVR application. Please note, if you do not have Enterprise Edition, you can still test the sample without a remote computer. Simply use the local computer in place of the remote computer.

Validate and Deploy the Inbound IVR Application

Open the inbound IVR application. Validate the application and submit it to Voicent Gateway as show in Lesson 1. Use the same application deployment name. When prompted, choose to overwrite the previous deployed application.

Validate and Deploy the Outbound IVR Application

Open the outbound IVR application. Validate the application and submit it to Voicent Gateway as show in Lesson 1. To deploy the IVR application to a remote computer, you need IVR Studio Enterprise Edition. To setup remote deployment host, select Deploy > Gateway Hosts... from the program main menu.

Use the same application deployment name. When prompted, choose to overwrite the previous deployed application.

Set Remote Gateway for BroadcastByPhone

Select Broadcast > Broadcast Hosts... from the program main menu. You need enterprise edition to set remote hosts. Once deployed, select the broadcast message as described in Select Autodialer Broadcast Message. If you do not use a remote gateway, simply select it from localhost.

Test Remote Broadcast

You can test remote broadcast by just running the BroadcastByPhone program. All calls will be made from the remote computer.
