We are proud to announce another new product release! This new release 3.2.1 just becomes available as of October 26, 2005. If you have purchased Voicent release 3.x product, upgrade to this new release is FREE.

To start to use this new product, simply download the software from http://www.voicent.com/download  and install it over the older release. Your 3.x license will automatically apply to the new release. If you have 2.x release, you can upgrade to the 3.x release. If you  haven't purchased the license, simply download the software and try it today!

What's New in Release 3.2.1

Important bug fix:

• Automatic next day broadcast. In certain conditions, automatic next day broadcast is not set. It is now fixed.
   

• Telephone recording. In certain conditions, telephone recording does not work. When you call into the modem to record, there is no message prompt or partial message prompt. And you can not record. It is now fixed.

 New features:

• List Management for BroadcastByPhone allows you to:
   

  1. generate call list. This is a very useful feature when you want to call all the numbers in some specific area code but do not have the phone numbers for that area. All you need to do is use our phone number generator and scrub off do-not-call list. It saves you a lot of time and money to obtain phone list. You can also use this feature to call all employees for some company wide event notifications.

  2. clean call list by removing duplicate numbers, empty numbers, and failed numbers;

  3. remove do not call list, either provided by your personal list or by Federal Trade Commission;

  4. sort call list by name, phone number, or call status.

• New BroadcastByPhone command line option. For developers who wish to use command line interface, now you can specify more options, -import and -numbers to start broadcasting without creating a .voc file first.

• New Gateway Simple Call Interface clients added in Visual Basic, C#, Tcl/Tk, and Python. For programmers, we now have the Simple Call Interface clients in almost all major programming languages. Previous supported languages include perl, php, C++, and Java. With these clients, it is easy to send a telephone call from your program or website.

• Voicent Knowledge Base is added to our website to help you to understand and use Voicent products better. We publish usage tips, trouble shooting information, FAQ and support questions, and general news. Voicent Knowledge base are categorized and searchable. You can post your feedback or comments if you have any. However, you can not post new topics at our website currently. If you don't find answer to your questions, send us email.

• List Management for BroadcastByEmail allows you:
   

  1. sort email list by name, email address, or status;

  2. clean email list by removing duplicate email addresses; email address without @; and empty email address;

  3. remove email list specified by you if you do not wish to send emails to specific email addresses.
