VoIP solutions provider netTALK announced Monday that it has acquired a 23,000 square-foot data center in north Miami. Dubbed the netTALK Cloud Center, it will serve as its headquarters.

Featuring redundant power design and maximum connectivity for wireless 4G, the facility’s tenants include Sprint, Florida Power and Light, Qwest, AT&T, Verizon and Vodafone.

“The netTALK Cloud Center marks a major step in our evolution as a company,” Anastasios Kyriakides, netTalk president and CEO said in a statement.

“Building on our recently-announced multi-year wholesale agreement with Lightsquared, this state-of-the-art facility provides us with additional capacity, power efficiencies and equipment such as a high-bandwidth antennae, which are key to our strategic growth plans, current and future, including television and wireless 4G transmissions, and B2B services within cloud hosting, network operations and other data management services,” he added.

netTALK offers a digital phone service that connects directly to a modem or router.
