VoIP provider VoX introduces Android app

Wholesale VoIP provider VoX Communications has introduced a mobile VoIP app for use on Android mobile phones.

VoX, a subsidiary of Pervasip Corp., formerly used other companies to provide mobile VoIP application to an Android device.

Now, consumers can install a VoX app directly on an Android tablet or smartphone with a simple download.  According to VoX, it will eventually automate this download so that it can be purchased anywhere in the world from mobile VoIP app websites.

“We are very excited about being able to deliver a mobile VoIP app viaGoogle’s incredibly popular Android Market,” said Pervasip’s Chief Information Officer Mark Richards in a release. “We believe that this venue will give our VoIP services unprecedented exposure, as this app will be available to over 50 million Android smartphones in the U.S. alone.”
