Canada gets new SIP trunking service

Primus Telecommunications Canada has announced the availability of a new Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Trunking service for small- and medium-sized businesses in Canada.

“Primus Canada Business Services, is a cost-effective alternative for business customers that want a flexible, reliable and fully scalable service,” company officials said through a press release.

The SIP Trunking will  especially benefit organizations that have already invested in a PBX  system and are now looking for a customized service to suit their needs, the company said.

“With SIP Trunking, companies get the voice-calling services they need with enhanced reliability to ensure that their calls are always answered, as well as a flexible and scalable delivery so they can change their service on the fly to meet their evolving needs,” said A.J. Byers, executive vice president of Business Services.
