New VoIP app for iPhones announced

The VoIP company, Vonage, has introduced an iPhone app to compete with Skype. The new app, called “Time to Call,” allows users to make 3G, VoIP calls in the U.S. or Canada, or throughout the world using Wi-Fi.

The app does not require an account other than iTunes–billing is done through the app itself.

The app is not only free, but comes with a free, 15-minute phone call to practically anywhere in the world.
