You’re impressed by power of VoIP tools? You ain’t seen nothing yet!

Last week’s national media exposure for Voicent’s BroadcastByPhone software got us thinking about the innovative side of VoIP technology.

We suspect that, where use is concerned, the innovation hasn’t even begun yet!

Many people use tools such as BroadcastByPhone to save time dialing numbers and dealing with busy, signals, answering machines and other black holes of productivity.

Tools like BroadcastByPhone will do the dialing for you, then hand you the phone when an actual human being finally answers.

As last week’s Associated Press story about Voicent indicated, there are many other uses for such tools:

• Delivering payment or delivery reminders
• Keeping volunteers up to date on projects
• Managing event invitations and RSVP reminders

Last week’s story noted the success communities are having using Voicent’s BroadcastByPhone to police illegal roadside signs.

We’re sure there are many more uses yet to be discovered.
