Check Federal Do-Not-Call (DNC) List

With Voicent BroadcastByPhone, it is easy to check the Federal Do Not Call List. This feature is included in the Professional Edition and Enterprise Edition. You can test this feature in the shareware edition and standard edition. But it is limited to 1 number at a time. For details of the federal Do Not Call Registry, please visit http://www.donotcall.gov.

Steps to check Federal Do Not Call List:

  • 1. Download your Do Not Call Lists (in text file format) from http://www.donotcall.gov.
  • 2. Once downloaded, use winzip program to unzip the file and save it to a directory, such as c:\donotcall
  • 3. Load your call list in the program
  • 4. From the program main menu, select the Broadcast, and then select Check Do-Not-Call List

  • 5. Specify the directory that contains the Do Not Call files (for example, c:\donotcall)
  • 6. Specify the local area code and Click OK to Start

For phone numbers on the Do Not Call list, the status column will be set to Do Not Call. Save your call list. Future broadcasts will skip all the numbers with Do Not Call in the status column.

Check Inhouse Do-Not-Call (DNC) List

You can also check your call list against your in-house Do Not Call list.

Steps to check in house Do Not Call List:

  • 1. Select from program main menu > List > Excluse List....
  • 2. Select the file to check against, and click OK
