Viatalk VOIP service

What is ViaTalk?

ViaTalk is one of the prominent VoIP providers that offer plans for both business and residential VoIP. ViaTalk delivers the regular features of VoIP services. Take note, if compared with other reviewed services like mobile app for calling on the go, its international calling plans. The usual features that Viatalk offers include voicemail, caller ID and call waiting, speed dial and 411 directory assistance.  Features that are not included are X11 information lines and lacks call transfer despite having two lines.  Cannot do conference calling even it is a three-way calling.

ViaTalk has three residential plans that all offer unlimited minutes that only differ in terms of price. This include monthly fee from month-to-month service.  They also have a discounted annual rate for signing up for 12 months or using your own equipment.  Though the plans include unlimited calling to Canada and an hour a month to over 60 countries, this service does not offer an unlimited world plan.  If you need more international time, you need to pay extra by minute or 1200 minutes a month additional fee.

In Viatalk you get additional free line with a second phone adapter. So you can be on one phone while another household member is on the other. People who have a business – or loquacious teens who don’t have their own cell phones yet – can enjoy long discussions without concern of controlling the only phone in the house.

Viatalk VoIP provider lets you take the adaptor with you and can be integrated with other adaptors. This does not provide a mobile app so you are limted to using telephone only to make VoIP calls. That includes you can use smartphone or tablet, either.

Enhancing your Viatalk VOIP service

Vialtak can also be integrated with high-end software found in Voicent. However one problem with Viatalk is that it does not support DTMF tones or touch tones.  So it won’t work if you have applications that require pressing a key or something.  Vialtalk is good for predictive dialing because it does not require clients to press a key to proceed.

Setup is easy.  You must configure the SIP settings all according to your Viatalk phone settings in Voicent gateway.  First login to your Viatalk account, located from the main menu, choose Softphone Configuration and select Xten under Advanced section.  Open Voicent gateway, go to Setup then Options and last SIP tab and input the following credentials; Display name, SIP ID, Domain, User and password. All done!

Callwithus VoIP Service

Callwithus is a company that offers broadband telephone service using VoIP (Voice over IP) technology. Whether from a phone adapter or ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter) making or from a personal computer, making phone calls to any country is possible.  You can use any SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) well-suited phone adapter or a “softphone” – that is a program which turns your personal computer into a powerful VoIP client using software

The good thing about Callwithus is the service is all free. You only pay for the calls you made. There are no hidden charges or recurring fees unless you order additional service from Callwithus like actual phone number (that would be DID – Direct Inward Dialing) to receive calls from a public telephone network or VoiceMail service.  Regardless of where you are and what time it is, all calls between Callwithus own subscribers are free. Payments are thru Paypal, credit card or Bitcoin. You can even dial their echo test 3246 to check your VoIP configuration before making a payment.  You can buy credits for as low as $5 to your account.  However being inactive with no PSTN activities will have your account deactivated.

Callwithus offers wholesale A-Z termination rates to VoIP service providers. Wholesale rates are billed 6/6 USA and Canada, 60/60 Mexico and 1/1 to most of other destinations.

Moreover Callwithus do not offer service plans that are unlimited calls with having to pay monthly service fee like most common providers these days have.  It is simple, you build your own plan, include only the feature you need most.  The calling rates do not depend on your location. All you need to use their service is a broadband connection to the Internet. However, it requires that you have at least 128Kb upstream and downstream speed.

Also, you may choose your own phone number. There are many countries and areas to select from and you may select a number from any of these countries, regardless of your location. The calls to your DID number will be redirected to your SIP phone, regular PSTN or cellular phone. Good thing you don’t need a VoIP client to have calls to your DID redirected to your PSTN or mobile phone number.

Voicent on the other hand offers software that would help you or say your business to your profitable years and enable more efficient call and voice communication.  Voicent can be integrated to use Callwithus as VoIP service provider.

Setup Callwithus VoIP Service

Under Setup > Option > SIP from Voicent Gateway use the following below for setting up Voicent SIP.

  • STUN Server: stun.callwithus.co
  • SIP ID: sip:<user name>@sip.callwithus.com
  • SIP Proxy: sip.callwithus.com
  • User: <user name>
  • Password: {your password}
  • Realm: sip.callwithus.com

Note don’t forget to change user name with your actual username from Callwithus.

DiamondCard VoIP Service

Diamondcard.us bids a great collection of VOIP related services. Their main goal is the expansion of VOIP services that are disseminated through various forms of distribution channels.

Diamondcard has been a good alternative to SkypeConnect. Diamondcard offers a thing called “pay-as-you go” Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) alternative. There are no monthly fees in this VoIP service, basically its prepaid. Comparing its rate with Skype, you’ll will likely find Diamondcard cheaper.

It is very simple to get started with Diamondcard, all you need to do is get an account and login to Diamondcard website and buy credits with your credit card.

There are two ways to make a call with Diamond card; calling using your landline and calling using your mobile device.

Call using landline

Diamondcard’s interface connects your landline telephone with another phone by calling both of them-first your phone, then the other phone.  First you log in to Diamondcard and press “Call Now” button in the left most column.  You will be directed to a new page asking for both your number and the number your calling, enter the numbers and press “Call” button.

Answer your telephone when it rings, then wait for the other phone to ring.  At the website you can view the total charges and time used.

Call using Mobile Device

In order to use Diamondcard on a mobile device, download Diamondcard free “soft phone” from their website and install it. A soft phone on the other hand is a computer program that allows you to use your computer as a telephone. With it, you can use a built-in keypad to dial numbers. The great news is no callback is needed when you use the soft phone–you just dial direct.

Voicent on the other hand can provide you with easy-to-use software rather than using the softphone of Diamondcard.  Voicent software products are installed on your computer and work through your phone and/or internet connection.  Voicent softwares are compatible with any Windows operating system from Windows 2000 to Windows 8 that you have. Voicent’s software licensing is simple: you pay once and can then use it for life. There is no setup fee, monthly fee, or per call charges.

Setup DiamondCard VoIP Service

On the Voicent Gateway menu, select Setup > Option > SIP.  The click add button to plugin credentials of your account. In most cases you must fill up stun server too, you can use public ones such as stunserver.org, because some of VoIP providers don’t have their own stun server. Obtain SIP ID from your DiamondCard account.  Enter other credentials like SIP ID, Domain (that is sip.diamondcard.us), user and password. You are now good to go!
