VOIP IVR

A VOIP IVR is an IVR software that automatically handles incoming or outgoing calls over Voice over IP (VOIP). Voicent IVR Studio is used for both inbound IVR and outbound IVR.

Besides the general benefits offered by an IVR system, VOIP IVR offers easy configuration and cost savings. For example, there are a few VOIP service providers offer FREE DID service, which means they give you a regular telephone number and when someone calls that number, their service will link to Voicent IVR software or ring your softphone. At the time of this writing, you can get free DID from sipgate, ipkall, and a few others. They normally will charge you money for outbound calls. You could also get nearly free VOIP service from Skype (about $3 a month).

Combined with a free VOIP DID service for Voicent IVR application, the ongoing cost is FREE. That’s a deal that is hard to refuse.
