Gateway and IVR Studio

I would like to buy inbound and outbound license for the gateway, Do I have to buy the license for BroadcastByPhone and IVR Studio? My company is deploying the IVR system for both inbound and outbound. Thanks

For outbound IVR, you’ll need Voicent BroadcastByPhone for making outbound calls. And if your outbound IVR application has more than one level of interaction, you’ll need Voicent IVR Studio. The built-in Message Designer of BroadcastByPhone supports only one level of interaction. For inbound IVR, you’ll need IVR Studio.

BroadcastByPhone license includes the gateway outbound license; and IVR Studio license includes the inbound gateway license. So your best choice is to purchase BroadcastByPhone and IVR Studio. There is no need to purchase the gateway license.

It is also possible to create your IVR applications using the gateway only. But that is much harder and you have to program at a much lower level, similar to programming at the assembly level vs. the C++ level. For most people, it does not worth it.
