Automate extension dialing

All my call recipients are reached thru either a direct extension or a switchboard where I need to dial their last name until recognized. I underrstand that the ‘detection’ tab and “most aggressive” mode will cause a dialpad to pop-up and then I could key in the number/letter. But I would like to automate this process even more since all my calls involve this process. Is there a way to have auto-dialer call the original number, wait x number of seconds, then have it press more numbers (e.g. spelling out the person’s last name or extension) ? Thank you

There is no option you can set such that the tool will accomplish what you specified. However, you can use Voicent IVR Studio to program the interaction. This may not be that easy if you do not have some scripting experience. Basically, in the designed IVR call application, you first play a silent audio file (this is the same as for the system to wait for x number of seconds), then read the last name from the input column, and have the system push DTMF tones (specified in IVR Studio as prompt with DTMF type). The scripting part is that you have to get the last name such as “smith”, and create “s”, “m”, “i”, “t”, and “h”, and for each letter, set it as prompt with the correct type in your IVR application.
