Integrate with Asterisk

I’m from Rio de janeiro Brazil, I would like to knows is It your product can be integrate with ASTERISK

Yes. All Voicent telephony products should work with Asterisk. Both products support SIP based VOIP.

To integrate, simply configure Voicent software as an Asterisk extension, or extensions if you want to use multiple lines. The Asterisk extension should be SIP extension that is used for connecting a SIP softphone. You can use a free SIP softphone like xlite to test the extension first.

Once the extension works with a softphone, simply use the same SIP information to setup Voicent software. Open Voicent Gateway, select Setup > Options > SIP tab to enter the information.

Magic jack for predictive dialing

Is it possible to use magicjack with 4 lines using 4 modems and and have 2 remote telemarketers for predictive dialing

Yes. But using modems for predictive dialing is not recommended. There are two main problems:

1. It is harder to get computers with 4 PCI slots for 4 modems. The computer also must run Windows XP.
2. It is harder to operate the live call transfer. Not only the agent must have a multiline phone that connects to all 4 lines, the operation is very cumbersome for agent. For predictive dialing, we strongly recommend you use VOIP instead.

Also if i can get sip for majicjack can you configure. I hear its harder to do (get SIP) Do you have any ideas

If you can get your SIP credential (user name/password) for your magic jack, then the configuration should be easy. The configuration should be similar to any other SIP configurations since SIP is a standard. For more information, please see SIP for Voicent or SIP FAQ.

We are not sure about Magic Jack’s end user agreement and policy regarding using its SIP interface directly. It is obviously not published. By googling the issue, it seems you may need to do some computer memory dump in order to get the SIP credential. If you cannot use Magic Jack’s SIP service, there are a log of other SIP providers.

Cisco UC 500 for predictive dialing

I need a predictive dialer for my call center (10 users). My IPBX is Cisco UC 5OO With 7940 ip phone. How work your predictive software? Give me more details for testing . Thank you for your reply

To test Voicent predictive dialer, download the predictive dialer software. The product to install is Agent Dialer. For setup help, open Agent Dialer, select Help > Predictive Dialer Setup Guide… from the program main menu.

First, you need to configure SIP extensions from Cisco UC 500. Please check your PBX manual or contact Cisco support for setting up extension for SIP softphone.

Second, you can use a free softphone called X-lite to test the extension or extensions. Use the newly created extension’s SIP credential (username/password) to configure the softphone. You should be able to make and receive calls using the softphone.

You should be able to get help from Cisco support, since up till this moment, you are not using Voicent software at all. Once the softphone works, it will be straight forward to setup Voicent software. All you need to do is use the same SIP credential for Voicent software. When configured, Voicent software will act as softphones. For more details and configuration examples, please take a look at SIP for Voicent and SIP FAQ.

Open Voicent Agent Dialer, select Help > Product Walkthrough… from the program main menu. You should be able to test almost all features of the predictive dialer using the shareware edition.
