Error: Failed To Open COM Port
When setting up our texting software, you may run into the following message:
“Error: Failed To Open COM Port”
It’s most likely because one of the following reasons:
The SMS modem is not connected to the computer. Please connect the modem to the computer.
The SMS modem is not recognized by the computer. Try to unplug the device, plug in again, and restart the Voicent App.
The software on the SMS modem is currently using the modem. If you plugged in the modem and ran the software on it, then the Voicent App will not have access to it. You must stop the software that comes on the modem.
