Apple getting new VoIP product and app

Voice Over IP solutions provider magicJack VocalTe,c announced it will launch two new products, magicJack PLUS and magicJack APP for Apple products and the PC next month.

The addition of magicJack PLUS and magicJack APP will help magicJack VocalTec expand its customer base. The VoIP solutions will find wider consumer acceptance and increased applicability for small businesses, the company said.

The company will take a modular approach for adding features instead of replacing whole products, so it expects that the future product lifecycle of these new products and services will last for a number of years.

The latest magicJack can be used without a computer. Users need to simply plug the USB side of the magicJack PLUS into the supplied power adaptor and connect the other side of the device to their router/switch via the supplied Ethernet cord.

With the launch of these products, magicJack VocalTec is expecting to raise its renewal rates to $29.95 by the end of 2011. When enacted and coupled with its new products and service offerings, the company expects that this will enhance its net income, according to a company statement.
