Where are the recording files

I was trying to retrieve a recorded call that was made earlier today. Not only is the file not there, but the directory is also not present. I had the set up the directories and try it again and no file was created. I also looked online in your database for help and I could not find anything that helped. The location that I am looking at is
“file://C:\Program Files (x86)\Voicent\AgentDialer\message\y2010\m08\d01\_0.wav”. The folder message on down is not present and creating it does no good.

From the folder name, you can tell that the recording is made on: 8/1/2010. These folders and files should be created automatically. Are there any recording file created under these folders?

If it is just a few missing ones, then it should be OK. Since if the phone gets hang up really quick there will be no recording files.

Their are no folders and no recordings, even if I create the folders the system does not put any thing in them. I even searched for recordings and the only ones are your male/female, your test files and the basic windows ding/chimes etc. The only other file is “_0.wav” but it is in “…/Gateway/work/telcache” and it is only one file and it is not the ones they need. What is going on?

Maybe there are folder read/write permission issues. If this is a vista/win7 computer, take a look at the virtual folders under:

C:\Users\{user account}\AppData\local\Virtual Store\Program Files\Voicent

Yep that is where it is at. Wow, am I glad that they were there

Great. This is the issue with Windows Folder Virtualization.
