Linux automated phone calls
have an online food ordering service. I would like to give my restaurants an automated phone call each time they receive an order. Will this work with Linux and what are the requirements needed to integrate it?
Yes. The easiest way is to interface with Voicent’s web (HTTP) interface.
Voicent software cannot be run on a Linux system. You must install it on Windows 2000 or later. However, since all Voicent products have HTTP interface, you should be able to manage Voicent software from other software, such as your web server on a Linux system. Since it is HTTP, you can connect to Voicent software using any programming language.
