AutoReminder Message Designer Feature with Text to Speech
Questions:
1) when I designed a ‘message’ and then called out to my cell phone, I didn’t hear my custom “text to speech” message, is that because its a demo version? I heard a “bing” and then an automated voice suggesting I download voicent.2) We’re hoping to create “dynamic” messages where it will say things like,
Recording: “You have an appointment with Dr. Smith on”
Text to Speech: “Tuesday, November 2, 2014 3:30PM”
Recording: “Please press 1 to confirm, 2 to cancel”.Ycu guys can support this correct? You called this “Dynamic message”. I wasn’t able to find this ability in the demo. wanted to test it to see how it works.
Voicent Answers:
1) You said: “Text to speech feature has one extra Voicent ad placed before the actual message is played”. Does this only occur with the DEMO version? The purchased version WILL NOT have this ad correct?
Yes, you are correct. The ad will be removed once you purchase.
2) I have a few more technical questions. Our product’s database is SQL based and the front end is programmed in C#. Can your Voicent Gateway automatically write to a database on the status of a call? Or do we always have to query it by using a function like “string CallStatus()”?
You need to query it by using a function like “string CallStatus()”.
3) Is it possible to get some documentation of what other functions we can use from a developer’s perspective? I don’t need the actual code but I would like a list of ALL the functions the developer’s would have access to. I’m trying to draw a full picture of how our own built-in Scheduler in our OWN product can write to your Voicent gateway, make the phone call and then efficiently capture the user’s response back into our OWN product.
We offer developer’s annual subscription that includes developer’s API. You can review the document at http://voicent.com/devnet/ but the actual code will be delivered if you purchase developer’s subscription.
4) From all the things I’ve described, what products/components should we need to purchase from you? I think we need something more customized beyond your regular “Appointment Reminder”.
Yes, you will need to purchase:
AutoReminder Enterprise Edition (to integrate with your database using command line interface.)
If you do not want SMS and Email option, you can purchase the professional edition and then upgrade to enterprise edition. This will save you the cost on SMS text and email
