AutoReminder Feature Usage
1) You said: “Text to speech feature has one extra Voicent ad placed before the actual message is played”. Does this only occur with the DEMO version? The purchased version WILL NOT have this ad correct?
2) I have a few more technical questions. Our product’s database is SQL based and the front end is programmed in C#. Can your Voicent Gateway automatically write to a database on the status of a call? Or do we always have to query it by using a function like “string CallStatus()”?
3) Is it possible to get some documentation of what other functions we can use from a developer’s perspective? I don’t need the actual code but I would like a list of ALL the functions the developer’s would have access to. I’m trying to draw a full picture of how our own built-in Scheduler in our OWN product can write to your Voicent gateway, make the phone call and then efficiently capture the user’s response back into our OWN product.
4) From all the things I’ve described, what products/components should we need to purchase from you? I think we need something more customized beyond your regular “Appointment Reminder”.
Voicent Answer:
Yes, both BroadcastByPhone and AutoReminder support this feature. You can use BroadcastByPhone message designer to do what to need to do as described above. Text to speech feature has one extra Voicent ad placed before the actual message is played. After the message is played, you can use the message designer to “Press1″, “Press 2″.
For your application, we suggest AutoReminder, which has built-in appointment reminder message like you specified in 2), which you do not have to designed it yourself.
