Appointment reminder message use TTS voice only
TTS Kate handles the whole call up until someone confirms an appointment and then the Male finishes the call by saying “Thank You for calling.” How can I fix this?
The male voice is built-in to the system reminder message, so it cannot be changed. The message is recorded by a professional voice talent and is not generated by the TTS engine.
You could switch the male voice to female voice, so it sounds like TTS Kate. To do so, please select the gateway main menu > setup > options > Text-to-Speech, then select female for the prerecorded voice selection.
Of cause you could replace the system recorded voice with an audio file generated by TTS Kate, so the whole reminder message will be consistent. But this is not recommended, it requires you to manually replace the audio file under the gateway installation. And if you update the whole program, you have to do that again.
