AVG Anti-Virus and the Free Editions cause numerous problems with Voicent software. Even though the firewall claims to be “disabled” it can still interfere with Voicent. Some of the symptoms users experience are: No audio, a lot of failed calls, and a slow dialing system. Within the “Advanced Settings” you have the ability to specify “Exceptions” for AVG. In that “Exceptions” section you can add the entire Voicent folder to it, select the “Exclude folder(s)” option and then navigate to your Voicent installation folder. C:\Program Files (x86)\Voicent\
Once that exception is added your firewall, Voicent software should operate normally. If you still experience problems with your Voicent setup, please disable AVG Anti-Virus temporarily until next restart and try your Voicent system again.
