BroadcastByPhone through Analog Phone System & using a system in Singapore.

Hi,

I am interested in the broadcast by phone system, some quries that I have.

Question: 1. I am planning to connect through the analogue phone system. Other than the Cisco modem, is there any other hardware that I need?

2. Can this system be used in Singapore?

1) The SPA3102 is all you will need to use an analog line.
2) Yes, this system can be used in Singapore.

I had following the instructions to setup using the SPA3102 to use the analogue line but it seems not to be able to detect when I tried to make a call.

In trying to make a test call, the service keeps telling me the following:
“The phone number that you have entered does not have a valid voip format 1-xxx-xxx-xxx where 1 is the country code for usa or canada”

How do I get it to make calls in Singapore?

Before the phone number you are dialing, you will need to add the country code for Singapore.

Ayer Rajah +65 676
Bedok +65 644
City +65 653
Geylang +65 673
Jurong West, Tampines +65 678
North +65 635
Sembawang +65 675
Tampines +65 677

So if you wanted to call the north you would have it dial +65 635 1234567

Where 1234567 is the phone number and 635 is the area code.
