Record by phone using skype connect

We have finally successfully installed and licensed Voicent. We want to broadcast by phone to our tenants and need to record a message by phone. We have established a SkypeConnect account. When we try to record by phone a message indicates we need to call a “Skypein” number. Is this an online number we need from Skype where we dial from another phone to this number and record our message? Skype was unable to help other than tell us we do not have an online number? I would like some kind of assurance exactly what we need to record a message by phone as we thought the Skype account would do this

Yes, the “skypein” number is the online number that is assigned to your Skype Connect profile. Once you have the online skype number, you can use a regular phone to call that number. Since it is associated with your skype profile, Skype connect will send the incoming call to Voicent gateway, which will then answer the call.
