Calling international numbers
Hello we are using the AutoReminder and IVR studio for outbound calls. We purchased an internation calling plan through callcentric. How do we setup or enter appointments and have the system call both domestic & international phone numbers?
If you have both, do not use any of the dialing rules, such as “add 1 for 10 digit numbers”. These settings are under Gateway Setup > Options > Outbound tab.
The “1″ is actually the country code for US and Canada. For other countries, you need to find its country code and add that before the phone number. For example, “44″ is the country code for UK.
In AutoReminder, when entering phone number to call, make sure you enter the full phone number, including the country code.
