Pause in Text to Speech

Using Text to Speech in the Message Designer, is there a way to place a pause between one message line and a second one

The most reliable one is to break the text, each as a separate message item. Then insert a silent audio item in between. You can find a system audio for a half second silence under the folder: C:\Program Files\Voicent\Gateway\webapps\ROOT\audio\si_05.wav.

The other way to do is to insert period or comma (you can add a few) after the line. Depending on the TTS engine, you may get some pause.
