Landline or Skype
Will your system work with vontage or just Skype? I’m concerned about going over the 50 different #’s for the day. I know that I can set up different SKYPE accounts but it seems like I will continuely have to check carefully to make sure each day that I’m not going over the 50 different #’s called for the day per SKYPE account.
If I set the 1 line dialer to make calls rapidly, how will I know what different numbers were called so I can keep track so I won’t go over the 50 different # minimum for the day with Skype?
Will I be able to see the numbers being called?
How would the system work if I don’t use Skype? Can I use a landline and if so how would this work with your software? I may call 400 different #’s a day and need the best cost efficient way to do this without a lot of checking and work.
Please advise and again I am looking a purchasing soon but I just want some of these questions answered first
If you make 400 calls a day, you should be able to setup “line rotation” feature to work around the 50 number limitation of Skype. All you need is to get a Voicent 1-line or 2-line Enterprise System. Click the link to read more details about the line rotation feature.
You should see which number is called. Actually, all call status are updated in real time on the call list spreadsheet window.
You could use a landline too. The landline must be a regular analog phone line, and you must use a voice modem to connect to the landline. The rest should be the same as using Skype. Also, you must use Windows XP instead of Vista. For more information, please see Modem FAQ
