Record message using SkypeIn
I am trying to use skypein to record my message and your directions are not specific after you call the skpein number can you please be more specific
First, make sure Voicent gateway is connected to the running Skype instance. You should be able to tell how many Skype instances/lines are connected from the gateway main window.
1. Turn on call recording mode from Voicent application or Voicent gateway (Operation Main Menu > Recording…). Watch the video help if necessary.
2. Call your SkypeIn number. Do not click the Skype answer button.
3. Voicent gateway should answer your call. It will then prompt you to record.
4. Hangup the phone or press the # key to end your recording
I stiil need help recording a message using skype. I recorded a message and hit the # key ,now where did it go to so I can listen to it or change and where do you find it to select as amessage to be played? It is nowhere to be found and when I call in again Ican;t change it
When you turn on the recording mode, the first button from that Window is labeled Click Here to Specify the Audio File name. That’s where the recorded audio file is saved. You can use Windows explorer to find that file. It is a regular Windows .wav file, so you should be able to click on it to listen. If you want to change it, you need to record the message again.
If you use the default for your call list, simply select Broadcast > Start/Schedule from the program main menu, then select the audio file you just recorded. Or you can use the Message Designer to customize your outgoing message. For details, please select Help > Product Walkthrough from the program main menu.
