Autodialer force message play

In the Setup > Options > Advanced Menu, there is an option that reads “force message play ___ seconds after human voice recognized.” What exactly does this mean?

This is just a safety measure to prevent the software from trying to detect human and answering machine indefinitely. For some noisy environment, such as a phone line with a lot of static or called someone with a loud TV/radio background, the software may not be able to detect the answering machine beep or tell the difference between live answer and answering machine answer. In this case, after the defined seconds, the software will start to play the message regardless of what is going on over the phone line.
