Design Confirmation Items

Question:

When I edit a message in the Message Designer, the “Need confirmation or response” option is greyed out, to where I cannot select it.

Answer:

You have to select “Play different messages for answering machine and human pickup”, and select “Human” in the list box. After that, you should be able to select the confirmation items. If you do not select the option, the message is for both answering machine and human pickup, and for answering machine there will be no response by definition.
