Call SIP without DID

I have the SiP information stored. I also have Skype. I wanted to record a message by phone. How can I do that if I am using the SIP and it does not have a DID?

You can use the SIP to SIP call, which does not require a phone number. Let’s say you have a SIP service from abc.com, and your user name is 1234, then your SIP ID is sip:1234@abc.com. Start a SIP softphone like X Lite, specify this SIP ID instead of a phone number to call. In order for this to work, it is important that you use a different SIP account to call.

Same for Skype to Skype call. You do not need a regular phone to call your Skype account.

To record message by phone using Voicent, simply use X-Lite to call the SIP ID that the gateway is using.

Import Appointment for reminder call

I need help importing a report I am able to import and the patients come up on the schedule but it will not:

1. Make the call right away
2. Put it into the right Room
3. Ask for a confirmation

I need help importing a report I am able to import and the patients come up on the schedule but it will not:

1. Make the call right away
2. Put it into the right Room
3. Ask for a confirmation

This is an example of the report. Can I have a complete sample of how an IMPORT REPORT looks so I can see where I am going wrong on mine?

The details specification is available online and from the program Help topics. The import format for each appointment is:

Contact, Phone, Start Time, End Time, Call Time, MessageID, Notes, Include Notes, Category, Confirmation, User, Audio File, Room

Please note the comma and position are important. You can have certain values empty, but do not skip comma in between.

To make call right away, specify “now” in the Call Time.

Specify the Room you want to use. But also make sure the Room is defined in AutoReminder also. (AutoReminder main menu > Room)

To have call confirmation, please make sure the Confirmation column is set to 1.

DSL filter

we purchased the broadcast by phone and voice mpdem from you. I need help with a problem. Sometimes it works great but at times it will stop playing message. In the same broadcast it will stop playing message at different points and some calls it will play entire message. I record on media recorder on computer through mic attached to computer. I increase volume of recording, convert it to correct format . Sometimes members tell me it cut off after three or so words, or halfway through message and others on same message get it all. Help

Please open Broadcast By Phone program, select Help > Troubleshooting… from the main menu, and take a look at topic related to “message cutoff”.

It appears that putting a dsl filter between jack and phone line to voice modem did the trick
