GSM modem for dialer

We are interested in Broadcast By Phone Autodialer . We want to set up the software and do local broadcast here so Skype will be quite expensive in this case. GSM gateway is the PC interface card with a GSM sim card that can programmatically make a phone call to a target phone number. If your software can work with GSM gateway, we then can do a broadcast for lower budgets on telephone call. Here is the specification:

Please find the attached of GSM gateway and specification below. Can we use it with your software to make a call through GSM gateway? The idea is to auto dial from PC to mobile numbers from sim-card which has low cost package. Please advice.

Appointment reminder message use TTS voice only

TTS Kate handles the whole call up until someone confirms an appointment and then the Male finishes the call by saying “Thank You for calling.” How can I fix this?

The male voice is built-in to the system reminder message, so it cannot be changed. The message is recorded by a professional voice talent and is not generated by the TTS engine.

You could switch the male voice to female voice, so it sounds like TTS Kate. To do so, please select the gateway main menu > setup > options &gt Text-to-Speech, then select female for the prerecorded voice selection.

Of cause you could replace the system recorded voice with an audio file generated by TTS Kate, so the whole reminder message will be consistent. But this is not recommended, it requires you to manually replace the audio file under the gateway installation. And if you update the whole program, you have to do that again.

Appointment reminder import fields

I have a couple of questions regarding your Auto Reminder product (we just purchase the Enterprise version):

1. In the comma delimited file, if I want to exclude fields, should I delimit them out (successive commas), include a null (,”",), or a space (,” “,)?

You should use successive commas. And if all other fields are quoted, then include a null (…,”",…) also.

2. Using the normal (non-import) method, the user can specify the appointment date and time separately. I see that the import has no such capacity.
How is is read using text-to-voice? Thanks.

Yes, the import format for time is a combined field of data and time. If the output cannot have the correct format, a conversion program must be written to change the fields to correct format.

Use text-to-speech voice is automatic. For example, if you include a note in the reminder message, the system will automatically read the note using TTS voice.
