Broadcast By Email forward emails

I want to know how to get a list of “Unsubscribed or bounced emails” Do we get the list in the software? Right now, I am getting all mails at “reply to” address which I have given. I went to the help section but it gives me filtering option. By using these filters, can I send “unsubscribed or bounced” email to one person and all the replies to another person.

What I actually need is:

1) All replies going to one person.
2) All unsubscribe or bounced list is getting saved in the software?

Is it possible? If yes, how to go about it?

The software will not forward emails. But you should be able to get the unsubscribe or bounced email list and save it in the program.

By default, once you run the Manage > Check bounced emails…, the filters will mark the email address in the spreaded sheet as bounced, AND remove the email in your inbox. Then choose Manage > Move bounced email to bounced list. All bounced email address will be saved.

After you clean up the bounced emails and unsubscribe emails, your inbox should be clean. Then you can hand the inbox to the person who is handling the email.

Appointment reminder handling day light saving time change

After DST change on 3/11, system is playing wrong appt time in message. i.e. call for an 08:00 am appt, appointment time is relayed as 6:59 or 7:14. Listed time in appt is correct and the Windows date/time is correct.

1). Please click on the time, then select Internet Time, select “Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server”, then click “Update Now”. Reboot your computer

2). You also need to update the time database for java. Please first download the java time updater program file Sun Microsystems. Upzip the file and extract it to a folder, such as C:\javaupdate.

Click Windows Start button > Run…, then type in “cmd.exe” in the Open box, then click OK. This should invoke the Windows Command Window.

Then cd to the newly created folder. type in the following command in the command window:
cd “C:\javaupdate\tzupdater-1.1.0-2007c”

Finally type in the command:
“C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_10\bin\java.exe” -jar tzupdater.jar -u

This should automatically update the Java time database.

Stop Voicent Gateway, then Start again.

Log displays correct time but, messages still relay incorrect time (6:59 am for 8:00 am appointment, 9:59 AM for 11:00 am appt, 11:59 am for 1:00 pm appt, etc) if “Automatically adjust for daylight saving changes” is selected in Windows date/time setup.

Deselecting that option causes Voicent messages to relay correct appt time.

You don’t have to do this if you have successfully updated the Java time database.

After I updated the java time and my computer time, some of my appointments are still wrong

For appointment made after the daylight saving time change on your computer and before you
updated the java time, the appointment will have wrong time. You have to remove these appointments
and enter them again.

Auto dialer call transfer tie up phone line

If we call out to a consumer and ask questions and they want to speak with someone at one of our locations and we transfer the call, does that one line get tied up for the duration of the call.

This depends. If you are using call transfer service of the phone line, then the call transfer service will free the line. If you are using 3-way calling or conference calling feature of the phone line, then it will tie up the phone line during the conference.

If you are using same line call transfer (simulation), then by definition, it will tie up your phone line.
