Voicent Gateway call request example

Question:

if I am scheduling a call now, and I don’t want it to call until later I use the schedule=t calltime=minutesfromnowtostart, right?

For example, if I submit all my calls at midnight, but don’t want the calls to start until 10am, and I want to retry all day until 8pm would I use the following?
schedule=t calltime=600 firstocc=600
or would it be
schedule=t calltime=600 firstocc=1200

Answer:

It should be:

schedule=t calltime=600 firstocc=1200

All time are calculated from the time you submit the call.

Schedule Autodialer Call

Question:

I’m a new user to Broadcast by phone. We’re using the system to call our past due accounts and remind them, well, that they’re past due. We’ve found the contact rate is better at night, but no one is here to kick off the application so I tried to set it up as a scheduled calling activity.

My question is, do I close out the BroadcastbyPhone application and leave the gateway off (i.e. stopped), or leave both on.

Your help is appreciated. I love the application. This makes a small business like ours, seem like a large organized (and not lenient from a collections standpoint) competitor.

Answer:

You can close the BroadcastByPhone application window but must have the gateway running.

You can check all your scheduled calls from the main menu: Broadcast > Scheduled Broadcast…

Auto dialer call report and call time

Question:

I haven’t found anything on your website that shows me what the reports look like when the calling is done. I’m looking to import the results of the call campaign back into my database so I know what times the calls were made.

Answer:

The call status and call confirmation is in the same spreadsheet window (BroadcastByPhone Autodialer). The status is filled in right after each call. You can export the result or copy-paste the result to another software.

There are also detailed logs under:

C:\Program Files\Voicent\Gateway\logs
