BroadcastByPhone Multi-line Autodialer command line

Question:

I was curious if I run the vcase.exe and have the 4 lines will the calls be distributed to different phone lines based on some kind of queue

Answer:

Both AutoReminder and Broadcastbyphone can be run from the command line. And both application are client programs of Voicent Gateway. They merely send call request to Voicent Gateway. All calls are queued, scheduled, and made on the gateway. If there are multiple lines, calls will be distributed to the next available line. But you will have no control over which line it
will be selected next.

Single User Predictve Dialer

Voicent AgentDialer is specifically designed for a single user. What it means is that it should not have two simultaneous live calls. So when the agent is talking to a customer on the line, the system should not try to call the next number.

The system is a little different for predictive dialers that designed for multiple agents. To support multiple agents and have better efficiency, the system can and usually have more phone lines than agents. As long as the ratio is set correctly, the number of “silence call” can be minimized.

If the system reaches a live person, the call will be marked as “Call success”; if it reaches an answering machine, the call will be marked as “message left on answering machine”. So if you cannot pickup a live call for some reason, you can call the number back right away if it is not an answering machine.

Audio file generated by Text-to-Speech Engine

It is generally a good idea to use pre-recorded audio files than text-to-speech. TTS items should be used only when the content or data is dynamic and varies from phone call to phone call.

You could record your message using a telephone or computer microphone. You could also use a professional recording studio.

With Voicent Natural TTS Paul and Kate, you can use these voices to generate your audio files also. All you need to do is use TTS item with your text and then make a call to yourself. After the call is made, please take a look at the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Voicent\Gateway\work\0

The TTS generated audio files will be saved in the folder as .wav files.

Copy these audio files to a different folder. Then use them in your Message Designer.
