Set caller ID for autodialer
Please assist: I would like to display my 1-800 number when I do the broadcast - in stead of the actual number, or no number. Is it possible?
You can generally block your caller ID, most phone companies use *67 prefix. You can set the prefix in Voicent Gateway, Setup > Options. Calls made with *67 prefix will show “Blocked” as caller ID on the receiving telephone.
It is generally not possible to change the caller ID display. But there are services out there that can provide this service. For more information, you can take a look at wikipedia or google, and search for “Caller ID Spoofing”.
