Voicent CRM with inbound and outbound dialing system

I would like some assistance with purchasing a predictive phone service plan. We will have at least 2-3 people making calls around 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. I would also like to ask for a recommendation on getting the requires needed to use your service.

I had spoken with the person who handles are phones since we do not have a phone switch here at the office. His response was:
“In the case of our calling engine (Asterisk) they only support version 1.4

This from their technical requirements page: “For each of these PBX system, Avaya, Asterisk and Elastix, you need to download the corresponding adapter and configure within Zoho CRM. The PBX systems supported are: Asterisk 1.4, Avaya and Elastix 1.6.”

The problem is that Asterisk 1.4 was originally released in 2006 and has been end of life (EOL) since April 2012.

So for Zoho to only offer a tool that works on an end of life system is really bad. For over two years I have inquired as to when they will support a newer release (Asterisk is now on 12 with 13 in beta) and they say there are no plans.”

Zoho had recommended I use Twilio or Ringio to integrate Zoho into our same PBX systems. I’m fine with switching to a different hosted PBX if it would allow us to use this service.

I want to have everything in our small business integrated with ZOHO. We are looking for the most cost effective way to have sales make calls to certain targeted groups, but also omit any bad numbers that come from cold calling (disconnects, fax machines, voicemail, etc.) We would also like incoming calls to display the lead information on the contact, if we have any, or would give us the option of creating a lead as they call.

Would you be able to give me some recommendation on how to get that achieved?
