Auto dialer merge phone numbers

I’m looking at your autodialer for a small political campaign. One unanswered question: My Excell database came from the city. The prefix and suffix of the phone number are in different columns. Will the program work with this setup?

It won’t. However, it should be easy to merge the columns of excel spreadsheet. For details, please take a look at Excel Help file, topic: Combine text from multiple cells into one cell, using formular. Basically, you use the ampersand (&) operator or the CONCATENATE function to do this task. The formular, for example, could be =CONCATENATE(A:A, ” “,B:B )

Auto Reminder Service

Hi! Actually we are looking for a solution that provides the following services using your autoreminder software:

*Connect our web interface to send instructions to autoreminder software to schedule automatic calls.
*The messages are input as text on a web form, recorded as voice with TTS software, or your plugins.
*A call is composed by: our intro audio, the previously recorded TTS message and, an ending audio. The intro and ending audio can be different between on each call; it’s a very personalized call.
*We want to make the calls through Skype; our PCs, or servers, must be able to make simultaneous calls if necessary.

Auto Reminder has an HTTP interface for scheduling calls and getting back call status. It should be straightforward to connect your web site with Auto Reminder.

Use the built-in Message Designer to create a custom reminder message. Utilize the Notes field for the TTS message. When creating the reminder call, fill in the actual text in the notes field of the HTTP parameters for call request. Should be simple too.

Yes, you can use skype for Voicent. Just add more skype instance to make more simultaneous calls. As our now, you can also use Skype through the SIP interface. It is called Skype Connect. The advantage of Skype Connect is that you can scale up better than using Skype instance. Click the following link for details of using SIP for Voicent.

So, my question is: which of your software and plugins can help us to deploy this application; also the number of licenses required for communication channel, or licensing per server; if we need one TTS, or skype, license per channel, etc.

For Voicent software, you need one license for each server. To make more simultaneous calls, you also need to purchase the correct number of “lines”. You need one line per channel. For each server, you need one TTS PlugIn license.

Multiple scheduled calls

I have the professional version of the Phone Broadcast program. I only have one license and 2 lines. I am making a web page that will work with the program (http commands).

What will happen if I have more than one person posting phone numbers, voice recordings etc? Will the program accept more than one person at a time or if there is something scheduled already will the system not take the new information until the first client information is completely called and processed?

Voicent Gateway has a built-in outbound call scheduler, so it should take all the call requests, and if there is no available phone lines, put them in a queue.

It is important to set up the correct value for “firstocc”, which determines the latest time the scheduler should attempt to make the call. If it is too late, the scheduler will display a message “too late to call” and set the call to failed status. For more info about “firstocc”, please check the gateway reference and tutorials.
