Appointment reminder using VOIP PBX

We need a wake up call software solution for our VoIP pbx. We have trixbox, much like Astrix. Your appt reminder software looks perfect if it can run over the trixbox system. Please let me know. Thank you

Yes, it will work. All you need to do is configure Voicent software as extensions of the VOIP PBX. For details, please see using SIP for Voicent

Appointment reminder change phone number format

Also I have started using Skype. I need to change all of my contact phone numbers to the 1 -XXX-XXX-XXXX format.
Is it possible for me to create a comma separated file for me to use to edit the phone numbers and then to import back into Autoreminder. It would be much simpler than editing numbers through manage contacts.

First of all, you do not need to add 1 for every phone number. Just open Voicent Gateway, select Setup > Options > Outbound tab, and select “add 1 for 10 digit number”.

Yes, you can first export the contact to a CSV file, change the numbers, and then import it back. But you have to delete all the contact before import. An easier way is actually directly edit the contact file. All contact information is saved in a text file:

C:/Program Files/Voicent/AutoReminder/data/contact.txt. You can edit it directly.

Change network adapter

I have just instslled windows 7 with a new hard drive and i have eliminated the wireless network adapter and am now using the ethernet cable directly to the router. Can you please send me a new license for use with this adapter

For Voicent license key, it is tied to the network adapter. It is considerred a different computer if you have to change the license key to tie to a different network card. You have two choices:

1. Still tie the license key to the old wireless network adapter. You do not have to use it for your network connection. All you need to do is to have the Windows OS to recognize the adapter. To get a new license key, open Voicent product and select Help > Request Product License… from the main menu. In the request page, make sure to select the gateway ID that is associated with the wireless adapter.

2. Use the new network adapter. You’ll have to pay for the license key transfer processing fee. For more info, please see move license key
