Question:

Why do I need Agent Dialer semi-automatic mode when I can just dial the number myself?

Message Designer

Question:

I want to insert a code # in the middle of my message. For example, “…please press the code # then …”. How can I do that

Answer:

First, please create 2 wave files,

1). the first wave file should start from the beginning till #, let’s call it first.wav
2). the second wave file should start from # to the end, let’s call it second.wav

Then in the Message Designer, create three message items:
1). first.wav
2). item that is specific to each cell, select column type as text-to-speech
3). second.wav

Save your newly designed message and give it an ID.

Select Broadcast > Select Message from the program main menu. A new column should
be added automatically. You can put the code # in each cell.

Confirmation item: leave message

Question:

One of the options on the New Conformation and Response Item screen is “Leave Message” with a max record time. How is this option set up? Where are the “leave message” messages saved?

Answer:

Leave message will save the message as an .wav file on your computer. You can simply click on the message link in the confirmation column to hear it.

The maximum record time is to limit how long the message can be saved.
