Listening to Recorded Audio Files

Question: I use telephone recording for my message. When I click on the recorded wave file, I can see the Windows Media Player is launched and I can see the bar is moving, but I cannot hear anything.

Answer:

Please click on the following Voicent audio file:

C:\Program Files\Voicent\MyRecordings\sample_message.wav

if you cannot hear anything, please check the following:

1. Your computer has a sound card
2. Your computer speaker is connected properly
3. The Windows Media Player volume is not set to mute or too low

Telephone Recording and RAS

Problem: Voicent Gateway does not answer the call for telephone recording

Possible cause: Other installed software products answer the call before Voicent Gateway does. These software include answering machine software, fax software, or remote access server software.

Gateway cannot find call record

Question:

I am testing the Vocient Gateway. I got callreqHandler.jsp working and it dials the number. But when I post to callstatusHandler.jsp with the reqId, I get the following error:

“ERROR: gateway cannot find call record: null”

but I am using the exact reqID that is returned from callreqHandler

Answer:

There is a bit called ‘selfdelete’ when sending call request to the gateway. If it is set to 1, the call record on the gateway will be automatically removed after the call.
